Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to work in districts and school sites across California. You will lead in-person groups of 20–25 students, coach and mentor, and maintain a safe, engaging classroom environment with a strong focus on positive behavior and student growth.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED), eligibility for required district units or pre-employment testing, English proficiency, Live Scan background check, and TB testing within 3 years.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific - 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan (fingerprinting) background check.
• TB test dated within the last 3 years.
• At least six months experience with a group of 10+ students in a classroom, afterschool, or recreation environment.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K-8).
• Bi-literate (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting, maintaining high behavior and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model for children in the program.
• Create an engaging environment fostering a sense of belonging.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and communicate needs as appropriate.
• Identify student needs and communicate with site supervisor, teachers, admin and parents.
• Participate in staff development.
• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment and physical activity using provided curriculum.
• Work with 20-25 students in classroom setting with behavior management strategies.
• Assist with snack prep, serving and cleanup.
• Set up, breakdown, and maintenance to keep site clean.
