Job summary

Think Together is hiring a Part-Time Program Leader to supervise and mentor students in California districts and school sites. You will lead in-person groups, model positive behavior, and support academic enrichment with provided curriculum.

Responsibilities include classroom management for 20-25 students, snack operations, setup/cleanup, and coordinating with site staff and parents. Strong English skills and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific requirements: 48 semester/60 quarter units and/or pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting with high behavioral and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model through appropriate dress, speech, and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging for students.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and apply disciplinary measures when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, administrators and parents as appropriate.
• Participate in staff development and training.
• Provide homework assistance and academic enrichment in person.
• Manage a class of 20-25 students using effective classroom strategies.
• Assist with snack prep, serving, and cleanup.
• Help set up/break down and maintain clean, orderly sites.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and reviewing sign-ins for activities.
