Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to supervise and mentor students in in-person settings across California school sites. You will lead groups of 20–25 students, enforce the organization’s four core agreements, and model respectful, safe behavior while fostering growth and belonging.

Responsibilities include homework assistance, academic enrichment, snack duties, and coordinating with site staff and parents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required for employment.
• District-specific units and/or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting.
• Bi-literate in Spanish preferred to support English-learners.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.
• Strong math and English skills for K-8 contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in an in-person setting, maintaining high standards for behavior and safety.
• Serve as a positive adult role model for children in the program.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and discipline when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers, school administration and parents.
• Participate in staff development.
• Provide homework assistance and academic enrichment in-person.
• Work with 20–25 students in classroom settings using behavior management strategies.
• Assist daily with snack preparation, serving and cleanup.
• Assist in setup, break down, and ongoing site maintenance.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and reviewing sign-in/out.

Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required.

District-specific units & pre-employment test
