Job summary

Think Together is seeking a part-time Program Leader for in-person work across California school sites. Lead a group of students, provide homework help, and promote safety and positive behavior within a nurturing learning environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, district unit requirements, Live Scan clearance, and strong English communication. Spanish bilingual ability is preferred to support English learners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• District-specific unit requirements (48 sem/60 quarter units).
• Ability to speak and write Standard English for a public-school setting.
• Must pass Live Scan background check.
• Provide negative TB test within 3 years.
• At least six months experience working with a group of 10+ students.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K–8).
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Bi-literate; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 20-25 students in an in-person classroom setting with high behavior and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model through appropriate dress, speech and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment fostering belonging for students.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and apply disciplinary measures as needed.
• Coordinate with site staff, teachers, and parents when needed.
• Participate in staff development sessions.
• Provide homework help, academic enrichment, and physical activity using program curriculum.
