Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader in California to guide in-person learning and mentor students. You will manage a group of 20-25 students, enforce safety and behavior standards, and model positive conduct in line with Think Together core agreements.

Responsibilities include homework help, academic enrichment, snack duties, setup/breakdown, and coordinating with site staff and families. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and background

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• District-specific 48 semester/60 quarter units or pass a pre-employment test.
• Ability to speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Live Scan background check required.
• Provide negative TB Test dated within the last 3 years.
• At least six months experience working with a group of 10+ students.
• Advanced Math and English skills (K-8).
• Bi-literate in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students in-person while maintaining high behavior and safety standards.
• Serve as a positive adult role model through dress, speech, and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging.
• Support students in making positive behavior choices and apply disciplinary measures when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with Site Program Manager, teachers and parents as appropriate.
• Provide homework assistance, academic enrichment, and physical activity using provided materials.
• Assist with snack preparation, serving, and cleanup; maintain a clean site.
• Maintain student safety by taking roll and reviewing sign-ins/sign-outs.
