Job summary

Think Together is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to work in California schools. You will lead an in-person group of students, serve as a positive role model, and help create a nurturing learning environment. Duties include supervision, behavior management, and collaboration with school staff and parents.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, standard English proficiency, and background check. Spanish bilingual preferred; 20–25 students per group with safety and engagement as priorities.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• District-specific: 48 semester/60 quarter units.
• Speak and write Standard English in a public-school setting.
• Live Scan background check.
• TB test dated within last 3 years.
• Six months+ experience with 10+ students in classroom/afterschool.
• Advanced Math and English (K–8).
• Excellent communication (written and verbal).
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 20-25 students in an in-person classroom.
• Maintain high behavior and safety standards using core agreements.
• Be a positive adult role model through appropriate dress and attitude.
• Create an engaging environment that fosters belonging.
• Support students in positive behavior choices and discipline when needed.
• Identify student needs and communicate with site program manager, teachers, and parents.
• Participate in staff development.
