Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians (RBT) to support children with autism in their homes afterschool, weekdays 3-7pm. The role focuses on implementing ABA-based plans, recording progress, and promoting communication, social skills, and self-care with the family collaboration.

Entry-level and experienced candidates are welcome; opportunities exist for pursuing RBT certification and BCBA growth with company-supported education and training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client’s progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in the online database.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.
