Job summary

Butterfly Effects seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism through ABA-based behavior intervention plans. You will work closely with families to implement individualized treatment under a BCBA's supervision, focusing on communication, social interaction, and self-care skills.

Part-time role with morning hours, offering growth opportunities toward BCBA progression and financial assistance for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience with children is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in interactions.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Works as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data in our online database.
• Participates in ongoing training to increase skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.
