Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism in their ABA-based programs. This part-time position offers 9-15 hours per week, with morning coverage from 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, and potential career growth toward BCBA with financial assistance.

Ideal candidates are passionate, patient, and reliable, with an active RBT certification and Medicaid credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active RBT Certification with Medicaid Credentials.
• A genuine love for working with children.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with children and families.
• Prior experience with children is advantageous.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a company background check.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports client's progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent and timely manner through our on-line database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Education
