Job summary

Butterfly Effects is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to support children with autism in home, school, or center settings. This role involves direct interaction with the child and family, teaching communication, play, sharing, waiting, and other essential skills.

Applicants with RBT certification are preferred; we will help you obtain it. A high school diploma, passion for working with kids, reliable transportation, and a stable schedule are required. Competitive hourly compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma. College coursework a plus.
• A love and passion for working with children.
• Interest in learning.
• Valid driver's license & personal vehicle.
• Web-enabled device (laptop or tablet).
• At least 3 weekdays with the same availability.
• Positive attitude and strong people skills to work with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Our treatment involves working directly with the child and the family in their natural environment (most often their home but also in schools and our centers), to teach them how to communicate, share, play, wait, and other essential skills.
• As a Behavior Technician / Child Interventionist, you make the session fun by teaching through play-based activities. We offer training to all staff, so they feel confident in the skills required to instruct children affected by autism.
