Job summary

EduCare Foundation in Los Angeles County seeks energetic frontline staff to create engaging, safe after‑school experiences. You will tutor, coach, and mentor students, leading activities across academics, arts, and recreation while maintaining attendance and safety standards.

You will collaborate with the Site Coordinator and other staff, promote inclusivity, and help students develop confidence and social‑emotional skills in a compassionate, heart‑centered program environment.

Qualifications

Age 18+ and ready to work in after‑school programs.
High school diploma or equivalent; 12 college units or an associate degree preferred.
Experience working with youth in educational or recreation settings is desired.

Responsibilities

Develop and facilitate age‑appropriate activities across academic, enrichment, sports, or recreation.
Mentor and supervise students, build positive relationships, and ensure safety.
Maintain accurate attendance records and follow sign‑in procedures.
Recruit students, support events and field trips, and foster inclusive environments.
Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff.
