Job summary

EduCare Foundation is seeking a dedicated Frontline Staff member to help deliver safe, engaging after-school experiences for students across Los Angeles County. You will mentor and supervise youth, support attendance, and assist with program development and field trips.

Working closely with the Site Coordinator, you will lead academic, enrichment, sports, and arts activities, foster social-emotional growth, and create inclusive environments where every student feels seen and supported every day.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional college coursework preferred.
• Two years of experience in youth-centered, educational, recreation, after-school, or community-based program.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate student activities.
• Mentor and supervise students during after-school programs.
• Maintain attendance records and ensure sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Recruit students to participate and support events and field trips.
• Collaborate with Site Coordinator and EduCare staff to ensure safety and program quality.
• Communicate professionally with families and school staff.
• Attend required trainings and apply feedback to program quality.
