Job summary

EduCare Foundation in Los Angeles County seeks a Site Coordinator to manage after school programs at urban middle and high schools. You will supervise staff, coordinate activities, and ensure a safe, enriching environment that supports academic, enrichment and SEL goals.

Work closely with school administration, parents and community partners to recruit students, track attendance, organize events and field trips, and monitor program quality using data and surveys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as an After School Programs Site Coordinator.
• Computer Skills: knowledge of database software, internet software; and Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Works on the school site to coordinate and manage daily after school programs, activities, events and field trips.
• Supervises an Assistant Site Coordinator, and four to twenty program Site Staff.
• Represents EduCare’s After School Programs to the school community and partners.
• Communicates with students, site staff, school administration, parents and families, and external observers.
• Recruits students to participate in after school programs and field trips.
• Organizes, facilitates, and participates in after school program events and field trips.
• Manages attendance tracking and reporting; inputs attendance within 48 hours.
