Job summary

EduCare Foundation seeks an After-School Program Staff Lead to support a High School program. You will blend student engagement, program facilitation, and day-to-day staff leadership, guiding frontline employees and ensuring safety, attendance, and compliance.

This role includes training for temporary site coverage and collaboration with the Site Coordinator to deliver high quality, engaging student experiences.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in after-school, youth-development, or educational programs.
• Experience guiding frontline employees and supervising teams.
• Ability to manage attendance, records, and program documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with families and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Support daily administration and operation of the after-school program with the Site Coordinator.
• Collect and maintain attendance, incident, registration, and program records.
• Guide frontline staff, assign daily tasks, and ensure safety procedures.
• Develop and facilitate age-appropriate academic and enrichment activities.
• Communicate professionally with families and school personnel.
• Monitor program quality, participate in trainings, and ensure compliance.
• Provide temporary site coverage and coordinate with leadership as needed.
