Qualifications

• At least 1 year in after-school programs or youth recreation in diverse communities.
• Effective communicator with kids and parents.
• College transcripts showing 48+ credits or proof of proficiency exam.
• TB test with negative result and Live Scan background check.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.
• Covid-19 vaccination documentation if required by school.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome kids at program end of school day.
• Organize and lead activities: homework help, games, arts/crafts, projects.
• Engage in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Create clubs for students (e.g., career readiness, cooking, anime, dance).
• Maintain a safe environment by following protocols and supervising behavior.
• Oversee safety and well-being during after-school activities.
• Encourage participation and adapt activities to students’ diverse needs.
