Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be age 18 or over.
• Experience caring for children (3+ months) or a valid credential.
• Annual 15 clock hours of training.
• Knowledge of childcare principles.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing requirements daily.
• Supervise and engage students during program hours.
• Communicate well with parents, staff, and school community.
• Maintain safe conditions for all students and staff.
• Promote program for before/after care and full days.
• Attend required professional development trainings.
• Assist in planning daily/lesson activities.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and storage.
• Contribute ideas for enrichment activities.
• Create and run activities and field trips for full day programs.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
