Catalyst Family Inc. is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for an Expanded Learning after-school program in Tustin, CA. The role supports the Site Coordinator in delivering high-quality programming, supervising staff, and engaging students in a safe, structured environment.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork, with a focus on mentoring youth, coordinating schedules, and ensuring program compliance and positive family engagement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in expanded learning or youth development.
• Ability to balance mentoring, supervision, and administrative tasks in a structured after-school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Site Coordinator in supervising instructor staff and volunteers.
• Provides on-the-floor leadership in student engagement, classroom management, and curriculum delivery.
• Supports staff scheduling, timekeeping, and substitute coordination.
• Facilitates staff meetings and check-ins with the Site Coordinator.
• Leads program activities including academic support, enrichment, and recreation.
• Maintains attendance records and daily logs.
• Assists in lesson planning and curriculum organization.
• Tracks supplies usage and assists in basic purchasing.
• Maintains site safety and compliance documentation.
• Acts as primary contact in the Site Coordinator's absence for school partners and families.
