Job summary

Think Together in Los Angeles is hiring an Assistant Site Coordinator to support the Site Coordinator in running the Expanded Learning program. You will back up daily operations, supervise staff, and help ensure grant compliance and safety.

You will serve as a main contact for students, parents, staff and school personnel, while helping to recruit participants and organize schedules and events. This role emphasizes professionalism and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience working with youth in a classroom or afterschool setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Supervisory experience in an afterschool or school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or assist in managing day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program.
• Supervise program staff such as Afterschool Youth Leaders and Instructors.
• Assist with hiring processes, interviews and staffing recommendations.
• Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to program staff.
• Ensure compliance with Think Together policies and grant requirements.
• Create and organize program schedules, events, and field trips.
• Maintain positive relationships with school staff and stakeholders.
• Help recruit students to meet attendance targets per grant.
