Qualifications

• High school diploma required; paraprofessional requirements vary by district.
• Experience mentoring and leading staff in ECE or after-school programs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one to two after-school sites and staff.
• Balance 40-60% administrative duties with classroom mentoring.
• Attend site coordinator meetings with ELM and ELD.
• Report to ELM about program, site, and staff performance.
• Lead weekly staff meetings and coordinate with school officials monthly.
• Assist with hiring and professional development with HR.
• Manage interns and volunteers; schedule staff and substitutes.
• Ensure program quality and compliance with state regulations.
• Maintain attendance records and student-to-staff ratios.
• Ensure safety, organize materials, and plan activities.
