Right At School is hiring a Program Manager to oversee after-school programs in local schools, guiding staff and maintaining safety and engagement for children from 2pm to 6pm, with early start on Wednesdays. The role focuses on program operations, family communications, attendance, and daily curricular activities.

The ideal candidate brings experience juggling priorities, a high school credential, and a passion for creating safe, enriching environments.

Qualifications

• Experience juggling competing priorities while delivering quality service
• High school diploma or GED completed
• Experience working with children and knowledge of special needs
• Coursework or training in child development
• Communication skills with adults and children (oral, written, visual)
• Ability to model professional standards with students, parents, staff
• Familiarity with Google tools or willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Safety and Joy: model staff roles and maintain safety protocols; keep documents up to date and attendance policies
• Safety Assurance: support safety protocols and mitigating risks
• Effective Communication: engage families and partners; respond to inquiries during program hours
• Documentation and Compliance: maintain attendance records and name-to-face procedures
• Daily Routine: implement daily activities and curriculum in a safe, engaging environment
