You will join the YMCA Youth Development team to support and lead before and after school activities for children in a safe, energetic setting. The role offers pathways from Staff to Staff Lead, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Experience with children or in education/recreation settings preferred.
• Willingness to attend trainings and obtain certifications as needed.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and passion for working with youth.
• Flexible scheduling (min 2 shifts per week).
• Clear pathways for career advancement.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead engaging before & after school programming.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all youth.
• Plan and implement activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical activity.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Follow licensing standards and YMCA program guidelines.
• Participate in trainings, staff meetings, and professional development.
