Job summary

Shining Steps ABA is seeking caring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our team for part-time after-school hours in Kansas City, MO. Typical sessions run 2:00 PM–8:00 PM, with weekend opportunities, delivering 1:1 ABA therapy across home, school, clinic, and community settings.

BT roles offer up to $22/hour; RBT roles up to $24/hour, with paid training and RBT certification support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance.
• Positive, patient, and professional attitude.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet employment requirements.
• Availability during afternoon, evening, and/or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adolescents.
• Work in home, school, clinic, and community settings.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record data during therapy sessions.
• Support children in developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
