Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support an affordable housing community in Anchorage, Alaska. The role covers responsive, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, including make-ready tasks and daily on-site operations.

The incumbent will perform pool maintenance, inspect facilities, and maintain logs while prioritizing resident satisfaction and safety. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of the community and reduce future repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and follow safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in safety programs and training.
• Assist with unit inspections and inventory monitoring of equipment and supplies.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive image of the community.
