Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support an affordable housing community. The role covers corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision.

The technician will assist with make-ready processes and ensure safety and quality standards across the property. Responsibilities include responding to work orders, inspecting grounds and units, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in community maintenance, including corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain the physical condition of common areas, buildings, and units as directed by the Supervisor and Community Manager.
• Support make-ready processes and turnover of rental units.
• Maintain safety and OSHA-compliant practices; follow Asset Living policies.
• Participate in on-call emergencies at the community as required.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and logs for service requests and inspections.
