Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team at an affordable housing community. The role supports preventive and cosmetic maintenance, make-ready processes, and daily care of common areas under supervision.

Responsibilities include responding to requests, scheduling repairs, and maintaining safety logs while upholding Asset Living standards and policies. High school diploma and basic computer skills required; on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills and ability to use on-site software functions.
• Strong customer service mindset to interact with residents and management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Assist with maintenance/repair tasks to support community turnover and safety.
• Maintain daily logs and records of service requests, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Assist in the upkeep of common areas, grounds, and model units while following safety guidelines.
