Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations at an affordable housing community in Oakland Park, FL. You will assist with corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision.

Responsibilities include responding to requests, performing make-ready tasks, pool maintenance, inventory, and safety compliance. A high school diploma is required and on-site software skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in community maintenance across buildings and common areas daily.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Support scheduling and execution of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Perform pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA guidelines; assist in inventory and record-keeping.
