Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support an affordable housing community, performing corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance. You will assist with make-ready tasks under supervision and ensure safety standards and OSHA guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, maintaining pools and logs, inspecting grounds daily, and participating in on-call emergencies to support residents and the property’s operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance processes for the property, including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain accurate chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and community features daily to identify hazards and address issues.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend asset life and minimize future repairs.
• Participate in unit inspections and assist in inventory management of equipment and supplies.
• Report observed violations of community rules to the Maintenance Supervisor/Community Manager.
• Be available for on-call emergencies at the community.
