Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician at an affordable housing community in Orlando, FL. The role involves hands-on maintenance, preventive tasks, and make-ready processes under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Regular onsite attendance and safe operation of tools are required. Responsibilities include responding to work orders, pool maintenance, inspections, inventory tracking, and upkeep of common areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate, timely chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards and prevent liabilities.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend the life of the community.
• Report violations of community rules and regulations to the Maintenance Supervisor and/or Community Manager.
• Participate in on-call emergency at the community.
• Assist with make-ready processes and general upkeep of offices and common areas.
