Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support an affordable housing community. You will handle corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, and participate in the make-ready process under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Regular on-site attendance is required. Responsibilities include responding to service requests, maintaining a preventative program, pool and grounds care, safe work practices, and accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Assist with the scheduling and performance of all maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program and records.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and cleaning and maintain accurate chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify hazards and liability concerns.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized maintenance shop and adhere to safety standards.
