Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, and administration under the Regional Manager, ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes aggressive lease management, resident relations, and programs to retain residents while maintaining NOI targets. A CAM/ARM certification is preferred, with solid knowledge of on-site software and OSHA/Fair Housing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the housing community under Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financial administration, and risk management.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and marketing plans.
• Lease, show, and move-in prospective residents; handle resident complaints and retention programs.
• Head the emergency response team and ensure safety compliance.
