Job summary

Fairstead ESC LLC seeks a seasoned Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, on-site compliance, and overall property performance. You will lead leasing compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA while coordinating with Compliance and Regional teams.

You will manage inspections, recertifications, budgets, and vendor relations, ensuring tenants’ needs are met and regulatory requirements are satisfied at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification.
• Experience in Affordable Housing.
• EIV experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure leasing laws compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Maintain HUD 4350.3 Handbook knowledge and respond to regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Regional Managers on lease and violation actions.
• Prepare REAC, MOR, LIHTC reviews, and annual/interim recertifications.
• Assist tenants with requests and manage tenant inquiries.
• Monitor arrears, oversee evictions and collections.
• Supervise maintenance and coordinate vendor bids.
• Conduct unit inspections and bi-annual walkthroughs.
• Prepare property reports and monitor construction updates.
• Attend monthly financial meetings and monitor budgets.
