Job summary

Fairstead ESC LLC seeks a seasoned Community Manager to supervise day-to-day property operations, ensure strict on-site compliance, and optimize the performance of assigned properties. You will lead leasing, maintenance, and regulatory activities, coordinating with compliance and construction teams to prevent violations and support ongoing renovations.

The role requires managing budgets, reporting, and tenant relations while leveraging tools like Yardi/RealPage in an affordable-housing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience including supervising a team.
• COS or CPO certification.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• EIV experience.
• Yardi and RealPage experience preferred.
• TCS certification for tax credit properties.
• Experience in Affordable Housing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property operations and on-site compliance.
• Manage leasing compliance with HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
• Coordinate with Compliance Department on responses to regulators.
• Supervise maintenance, inspections, and vendor bids.
• Prepare REAC, MOR, LIHTC reviews and annual recertifications.
• Monitor budgets and attend monthly financial meetings.
• Direct collection of rents and pursue delinquencies.
