Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a skilled engineer to design mechanical systems for electrical test equipment supporting New Glenn avionics qualification and acceptance testing. You will collaborate with electrical design engineers to define test systems, lead 2D/3D modeling, BOM management, and PLM documentation release for production.

Expected to ensure safety, quality, and timely execution in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on assembly and test of aerospace hardware or systems.

Responsibilities

• Model 2D/3D electrical systems.
• Manage BOMs and release doc in PLM (Windchill).
• Configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities for test systems.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure safety and readiness.
• Identify and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks.
• Mentor and train other personnel.
