Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced mechanical/ aerospace engineer to design, analyze, develop, and qualify pressurized fluid and gas systems for New Glenn. You will work on 3D CAD (Creo) models and FEA analyses, ensure GD&T compliance, and drive engineering releases across teams.

You will apply expertise in valves, tubing, and high-pressure hardware, lead test definitions, and coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to support safe, reliable spaceflight systems. U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
  • 5+ years proven experience in aerospace fluid or mechanical systems design.
  • Experience with 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and FEA tools (ANSYS).
  • Proficiency with GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and ability to craft engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, develop, and qualify pressurized liquid/gas systems for a reusable launch vehicle.
  • Lead engineering releases, component selection, and testing definitions.
  • Collaborate across teams for schedule, production, and vendor management.
  • Provide technical leadership and ensure safety and quality in extreme environments.
