Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the New Glenn program in Seattle. You will design, analyze, and document mechanical systems using Creo, Windchill, and ANSYS, delivering components from concept through flight readiness.

You'll work with a cross‑functional team to meet performance, safety, and reliability goals, lead tolerance analyses, and support testing, fabrication, and supplier coordination in a fast‑paced, inclusive culture that values safety and problem solving.

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in mechanical design with 3D CAD experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs from concept to flight and service.
• Perform tolerance and analysis; review others' work.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and procurement.
• Support fabrication, integration, and testing activities.
