Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to lead development, qualification, and production test campaigns for New Glenn spaceflight systems. You will plan and execute campaigns for mechanical, hydraulic, cryogenic, and pneumatic subsystems, from fabrication to delivery, working with design, operations, and technicians to ensure safety and quality.

You will author test procedures, perform readiness reviews, and drive efficiency gains in testing while maintaining a high standard of safety.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in component testing and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication for executive and shop-floor audiences.
  • Experience managing simultaneous project schedules.
  • Passion for spaceflight and exploration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, qualification, and production test campaigns for New Glenn systems.
  • Own planning and execution of component/subassembly test campaigns from fabrication to delivery.
  • Author and maintain detailed test procedures and conduct data reviews.
  • Collaborate with design/operations/technicians to integrate tests and procure hardware.
