RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineering contributor to design, analyze, prototype, and implement high‑reliability mechanical test fixtures and environmental stations for defense systems. You will work across the product lifecycle from development to production and sustainment, applying advanced CAD tools and drafting standards.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy, reliability, and maintainability of test solutions, with opportunities to contribute

Competenze

• Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
• Experience using CAD software to generate 3D models and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience creating or maintaining mechanical hardware documentation and engineering drawings per industry standards (ASME Y14 / ISO).

Mansioni

• Design, analyze, prototype, and implement mechanical test fixtures and environmental test stations for complex weapon systems.
• Research, plan, and design custom mechanical test solutions for vibration, thermal, RF, and electro‑optical environments.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings and ensure data packages meet drafting standards (ASME Y14 / ISO).
• Validate test systems against accuracy, repeatability, and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams to diagnose issues and implement design enhancements.
