Job summary

RTX is seeking a Test Solutions Engineer to design, analyze, prototype, and implement advanced mechanical test fixtures and environmental test stations for complex weapon systems. You will contribute across development, production, and sustainment lifecycles, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure high reliability and performance.

Qualified candidates will hold an advanced STEM degree and have extensive CAD experience (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, CATIA, NX) with strong

Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or mathematics (STEM) discipline.
Experience using CAD software to generate 3D models and assemblies.
Experience creating or maintaining mechanical hardware documentation and drawings per drafting standards.

Responsibilities

Research, plan, and design mechanical test solutions for vibration, thermal, RF, and electro‑optical environments.
Conceptualize and implement mechanical systems with state-of-the-art test technologies.
Use CAD tools to create 3D assemblies and 2D drawings.
Ensure data packages follow ASME Y14 or ISO drafting standards.
Integrate and validate test systems to meet accuracy and reliability requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and improve designs.
