Job summary

RTX's Test Solutions Engineering team seeks a mechanical engineer to design, analyze, prototype, and implement advanced test fixtures and environmental stations for defense programs across their lifecycle.

You will work with CAD tools to create 3D assemblies and detailed drawings, ensuring compliance with ASME Y14 and ISO standards while collaborating across engineering and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced STEM degree or equivalent; degree by start date.
• Experience using CAD to generate 3D models and assemblies.
• Experience creating mechanical drawings per ASME Y14 or ISO.
• Experience gained through on-the-job, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype high-reliability test fixtures.
• Develop mechanical test stations for vibration, thermal, RF, and EO environments.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings with CAD tools.
• Ensure data packages meet industry drafting standards (ASME Y14 / ISO).
