Job summary

Pratt & Whitney located in Wells, ME, is seeking a quality inspector for the Repair Operations division. The role is part of the Weekend Afternoon Shift, Fri-Sun, 36 hours paid as 40, with on-site work and opportunity to contribute to aerospace quality control.

You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, document results, and support continuous improvement within a stat of the art facility. This role offers training and long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Inspection experience (Non-Aerospace acceptable) preferred.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills.
• Basic shop Math.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gages per procedures.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Perform calculations to determine nonconformance and complete paperwork.
• Follow procedures to verify dimensions and ensure Work Instructions are followed.
• Maintain inspection stamp and manage multiple priorities, including overtime.
