Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an inspector for a Weekend Afternoon shift (Friday–Sunday, 36 hours, paid 40) in Maine. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts using precision measuring tools, determine nonconformances, and document results. The role requires high school education and familiarity with measuring equipment.

Qualifications

• Inspection experience preferred, non-aerospace acceptable.
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Computer skills and basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges using measured instructions.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results.
• Complete paperwork and determine extent of nonconformance.
• Maintain inspection stamp and support continuous improvement activities.
• Review customer parts upon receipt and determine repair path.
