Job summary

Pratt & Whitney's North Berwick, Maine facility seeks a dual-role Engineer to support Quality and Manufacturing Engineering on an Alternate Work Week schedule. You will lead root-cause investigations, review instructions, and mentor inspectors while interfacing with engineering groups and customers.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 3 years of experience in Quality, Engineering or Operations in manufacturing or regulated industries.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
• High school diploma or specialized technical/military training with 9+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to investigate root causes of escapes and non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Review product, process, and work instructions for compliance.
• Review and approve FAI’s, Service Masters, and interfaces with Engineering and Customer Support.
• Support ACE goals and provide technical guidance to inspectors.
• Coordinate with off-shift supervision and regulatory agencies; engage with customers and vendors as needed.
