Job summary

RTX in Maine is seeking a quality inspector for the Repair Operations division on the weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 5:00am-5:30pm). You will inspect parts, tools and gauges per written procedures, decide on acceptance or rework, and record results while supporting continuous improvement.

High school or GED required; inspection experience preferred. Familiarity with precision measuring equipment, good verbal and written communication, computer skills, and basic shop math are essential for success

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Inspection experience preferred (Non-Aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Proficient with computers.
• Basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges.
• Apply written inspection procedures, drawings, and manuals to determine conformance.
• Document results and determine need for repair or rework.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in the department.
