Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a quality inspector for the Repair Operations division to join our Onsite Operations team on the 3rd shift (11:30 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday). You will apply written inspection procedures, drawings, engine manuals and other data to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspections on parts, tools and gauges.

Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions, record results, determine nonconformance, and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Inspection experience (Non-Aerospace acceptable).
• Familiar with precision measuring equipment.
• Communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer skills.
• Basic Shop Math.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools and gauges and record results.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and complete necessary paperwork.
• Determine nonconformance and refer for rework or quality review when needed.
• Maintain inspection stamps and ensure Work Instructions are followed.
• Support continuous improvement activities and flexibility for overtime.
