Job summary

Pratt & Whitney’s North Berwick, Maine facility seeks a dual-role Engineer to support our Alternate Work Week schedule. You will enhance quality and manufacturing processes, lead root-cause investigations, review FAI’s and work instructions, and collaborate with Engineering, Customer Support and regulatory bodies to resolve technical issues.

Reporting to the site Quality Manager, this onsite role offers training, cross-functional teamwork, and long-term growth in aerospace.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 3 years in Quality/Engineering/Operations in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Defense, Automotive or other heavily regulated industry.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience or Associate's degree with 7+ years.
• High School Diploma or technical/military training with 9+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead root-cause investigations for customer escapes and non-conformances and determine corrective actions.
• Review and approve FAI’s, Service Masters and Work Instructions.
• Interface with Engineering, Customer Support, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues.
• Lead teams supporting ACE/continuous-improvement goals and provide technical guidance to inspectors.
• Interface with off-shift supervision to prevent quality work stops and support SCO/ACE objectives.
