Vantor is hiring an Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Engineer in Herndon, VA. This hands-on role develops high‑fidelity simulations of space, airborne, and ISR sensor systems to support architecture studies and mission analyses. You will build real-world operational vignettes and create tools to improve data analysis and visualization.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and be willing to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS.
• U.S. Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Willing to work on-site in Herndon, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and run high-fidelity simulations of space, airborne, and ISR sensor systems to support studies and analyses.
• Build operational vignettes reflecting real-world mission needs and priorities.
• Develop new tools, scripts, and simulator features to improve scenario generation, data analysis, visualization, and workflow efficiency.
• Analyze simulation results to identify trends, risks, trade-offs, and key drivers.
• Perform QA/QC on model inputs, assumptions, outputs, and results.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical teams, senior leaders, and customers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while owning independent analysis tasks.
