Job summary

Vantor seeks a Principal Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Engineer to lead advanced ISR studies for government and commercial customers. You will translate mission needs into executable technical strategies, roadmaps, and prioritized actions across the M&S organization.

You will mentor analysts, enforce modeling standards, and represent the M&S team in customer engagements and strategic planning. U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are mandatory for consideration.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed engineering/science fields.
• 15 years of relevant experience.
• Willing to work on-site in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision, modeling strategy, and execution approach for M&S programs.
• Partner with customers and leadership to translate mission needs into prioritized work plans.
• Maintain technical quality across models, scenarios, and analyses.
• Establish modeling standards, verification/validation practices, and documentation expectations.
• Standardize workflows and promote reusable models and data products.
• Improve team efficiency through automation and tool integration.
• Allocate work based on customer needs, risk, and resources.
• Identify risks and opportunities for improvement across projects.
• Mentor analysts through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Develop roadmaps for future M&S investments and capabilities.
• Represent M&S in customer engagements and strategic planning.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
