Job summary

Vantor is seeking an Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Engineer II to support advanced ISR studies for government and commercial customers. In this role you will model satellites, aircraft, sensor systems, mission scenarios, and operational concepts to evaluate performance, explore trade-offs, and inform decisions on future space and airborne capabilities.

This is a hands-on technical role for an experienced engineer who can independently solve complex mission problems, improve simulation

Qualifications

• US citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related field.
• 3 years of professional experience in space systems modeling and simulation.
• Willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, modify, and run high-fidelity simulations of space, airborne, and ISR sensor systems for analyses.
• Design operational vignettes and analysis plans translating customer priorities into measurable scenarios.
• Own complex analysis tasks from requirements through delivery.
• Develop tools and reusable components to improve workflow efficiency.
• Present findings to technical teams and customers and provide guidance to junior analysts.
• Apply QA/QC, verification, validation, and documentation practices.
