Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Principal Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Engineer to lead advanced ISR studies for government and commercial customers. You will serve as the primary intermediary between customers, program leadership, and modeling teams, translating mission needs into executable technical strategies, program roadmaps, and prioritized action plans.

Note: US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are mandatory for consideration; on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required with an active or current TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision, modeling strategy, and execution approach for M&S programs.
• Clarify mission needs with customers and leadership, translating to prioritized work plans.
• Maintain technical quality and integrity of models, scenarios, and data.
• Establish and enforce modeling standards, reviews, verification, and documentation.
• Standardize workflows, promote reusable models, data products, and analysis components.
• Improve team efficiency through automation and better tool integration.
• Guide work allocation based on needs, risk, resources, and goals.
• Identify cross-project risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Mentor analysts through coaching, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Develop roadmaps for future M&S tools, data, and workforce capabilities.
• Represent M&S in customer engagements, reviews, and proposals.
