Job summary

Vantor seeks an Aerospace Modeling & Simulation Software Engineer to develop capabilities for government and commercial customers. You will build simulation tools, data workflows, and visualization features for space, airborne, and ISR sensor systems. Note: U.S.

citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are mandatory for consideration. You will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and customers to translate mission needs into software solutions and deliver high-quality results on-site.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with Python, C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with aerospace, space,ISR systems and mission analysis.
• Willingness to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software tools for aerospace modeling, simulation, mission analysis, and data visualization.
• Enhance high-fidelity simulators used to evaluate space, airborne, and ISR sensor systems.
• Design modular software architectures for new simulation features and reusable workflows.
• Develop scripts, APIs, and data pipelines for scenario generation, simulation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with aerospace engineers, analysts, and customers to translate mission needs into software requirements.
• Build data processing and visualization workflows for large simulation datasets.
• Apply best practices: version control, testing, documentation, reviews, and configuration management.
